In 2006, received the National Award for Best Color Photography for the Tamil film Sringaram Directed by Sharada Ramanathan. 

In 1984, received the National Award for Best Color Photography for the Sanskrit film Adi Sankaracharya Directed by G. V. Iyer. 

Has received several Kerala State Awards for Malayalam films for Best Cinematography both in Black & White and Color, for the Following films:

Has received the Film Critics Award for the Best Cinematography for  the Malayalam film Daivathinte Vikruthikal Directed by Lenin Rajendran.
 

Has received Andhra State Award for Best Cinematography for the Telugu Film Hrudayanjali Directed by Dr.Raghurami Reddy.
